Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Affluent Basics website and mobile applications (together, the "Platform"), operated by Affluentpay Technologies Pvt Ltd("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing the Platform or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & account

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Sign-in is via a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number. You are responsible for keeping your device and number secure; all activity through your account is your responsibility.
  • You agree to provide accurate delivery and contact information.

2. Products, pricing & orders

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes. MRP comparisons, where shown, indicate the maximum retail price of the product.
  • Product colours may vary slightly from photographs due to screen differences.
  • An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation on the Platform. We may refuse or cancel orders due to stock errors, pricing errors, or suspected fraud; any amount paid for such orders is reversed in full.
  • Items on the Platform are sold by the Company and by verified independent sellers. The seller of record for each item is responsible for that item's quality; the Company operates the Platform, payment collection, and logistics coordination.

3. Payments

  • We accept Cash on Delivery and online payment (UPI, cards, netbanking) through our authorised payment partners.
  • Online payments are confirmed only after server-side verification with the payment provider.

4. Shipping & delivery

  • Orders are shipped through third-party courier partners with tracking made available in your account.
  • Delivery timelines shown are estimates and may vary by location and courier conditions.
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel and pay any Cash on Delivery amount.

5. Returns & refunds

All sales are final. Our detailed policy — including the narrow replacement process for transit damage or an incorrect item — is set out in the Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

  • You may not use the Platform for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with its operation, scrape it, or misuse offers, OTPs, or payment flows.
  • We may suspend accounts involved in fraudulent orders, abusive behaviour towards delivery or support staff, or repeated refusal of Cash on Delivery parcels.

7. Intellectual property

The Affluent Basics name, logo, content, and design are the property of Affluentpay Technologies Pvt Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the registered office of Affluentpay Technologies Pvt Ltd shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable rights under consumer protection law.
