Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Affluentpay Technologies Pvt Ltd("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Affluent Basics website and mobile applications (the "Platform").

1. Information we collect

• Account data — your mobile number (used for OTP sign-in), and optionally your name and email address.
• Order data — delivery addresses, order history, invoices, and payment status. Card/UPI details are processed by our payment partners; we never see or store them.
• Seller data (sellers only) — business details, GSTIN, PAN, bank account details, and KYC documents you upload during onboarding, used solely for verification and payouts.
• Technical data — basic device and log information needed to operate and secure the Platform. We use local storage to keep you signed in; we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

2. How we use it

• To create your account and authenticate you via OTP.
• To process, pack, deliver, and track your orders, and to generate invoices.
• To send transactional messages — OTPs by SMS, and order/invoice emails if you provide an email address.
• To verify sellers, calculate seller settlements, and process withdrawals.
• To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, KYC).

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary with:

• Courier partners — your name, address, and phone number, to deliver your order.
• Payment partners — order amount and reference, to collect payment or (for sellers) disburse payouts.
• SMS/email providers — your number/email, to deliver OTPs and order communications.
• Authorities — where required by applicable law.

4. Storage & security

• Your data is stored on our own servers located with reputed hosting providers, not on third-party analytics platforms.
• Sensitive configuration and seller KYC data are stored encrypted; access is restricted to authorised personnel.
• Passwords (where used) are stored only as one-way hashes; OTPs are stored hashed and expire within minutes.

5. Retention

We retain order and invoice records as required by Indian tax and accounting law. Account data is retained while your account is active; you may request deletion (see below), subject to records we must keep by law.

6. Your rights

• You can view and update your name, email, and addresses in the app at any time.
• You may request a copy of your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account by writing to support@affluentbasics.in from your registered contact.

7. Children

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
